ESI was awarded this greenfield project in October 2012, started construction in November, and completed the entire facility in time for the July 2013 wheat harvest. Includes 2,475,000 bushels of storage, a 40,000 BPH rail loadout bulkweigher scale and a Donaldson dust filter.
ESI used our extensive design-build capabilities to construct this feed processing facility in an existing empty warehouse. Initial construction launch was followed by three additional production lines to increase the facility's capacity.
As this customer's facility continued to expand, so did their need for increased grain receiving capacity. ESI designed and installed this 20,000 BPH receiving pit along with a 25,000 CFM dust filter.
ESI is equally comfortable supplying dust systems for new grain applications as well as retrofitting solutions into existing facilities where space is typically limited. We leverage our decades of experience to find creative solutons to our customers' problems. This project included an external dust manifold retrofit into an existing grain receiving pit.
ESI constructed one of the first Zimmerman 10,000 BPH grain dryers in the country after the new product was announced. Also included in this new grain drying system is a 56' diameter concrete wet silo and a 20,000 BPH Hawthorne-Seving wet grain bucket elevator.
