Wet Grain & Drying System

ESI constructed a 56' diameter 140' tall concrete silo to store 270,000 bushels of wet grain to feed a new Zimmerman 10,000 BPH dryer. The silo's Rolfes@Boone 1/7 CFM aeration system consists of a four 60 HP 3450 RPM centrifugal fans (including silencers), six 2 HP explosion proof power roof exhausters and flush floor aeration sheeting inside the silo.

Replacement Leg Boots With Upgraded Safety Features

Do you have an old bucket elevator or conveyor that needs upgrading rather than a complete replacement?

ESI's highly experienced in-house design, fabrication and millwright professionals can replace key components of your material handling equipment, extending the life of your bucket elevators, conveyors, and much more... a great alternative to keep your facility running when the budget doesn't allow for a complete replacement.

For this project, ESI collected detailed field measurements on a pair of decades-old bucket elevators, fabricated custom replacements boots and installed them in a timely manner to limit facility downtime.

Receiving Pit & Tunnel Ventilation

Adding an aeration fan to your below-grade concrete structures can help reduce moisture by providing airflow and limit dust by creating negative air pressure in the enclosed space. ESI installed this commercial-duty Rolfes@Boone centrifugal aeration fan onto the metal cover of our customer's below-grade receiving pit/tunnel area. The fan has a 3 HP 1750 RPM premium efficient motor.

Rail Side-loading 40,000 BPH Bulkweigher Scale

ESI positioned this Compuweigh 40,000 BPH bulkweigher scale between a truck driveway and a railroad track. Phase I of the project included the scale and its side-load rail spout. A future phase II will include a diverter valve below the scale's discharge and a separate side-load truck spout.
