Innovative Controls Corporation (a.k.a. ICON), ESI's automation division, completed a multi-phase rollout automating an existing grain terminal in Ohio. The new automated controls include customized auto-routing capabilities whereby a series of material handling equipment (conveyors, legs, gates, valves) are sequenced together to allow operations staff to more quickly transfer grain, improve blending accuracy, and reduce the possibility of mixing grain.
