This new Behlen 157' diameter bin holds 2 million bushels and is fed by a 40,000 BPH Hi-Roller belt conveyor.
In 2004 ESI transformed a vacant railyard into a state-of-the-art automated grain elevator with a 50,000 BPH rail loadout. Designed for future expansion, ESSI added additional steel and concrete storage, dust systems, receiving, and drying over the next 10 years. The facility now exceeds 6.8 million bushels of storage.
ESI was awarded this greenfield project in October 2012, started construction in November, and completed the entire facility in time for the July 2013 wheat harvest. Includes 2,475,000 bushels of storage, a 40,000 BPH rail loadout bulkweigher scale and a Donaldson dust filter.
This premier grain drying system includes a GSI 7,000 BPH dryer, a 58' diameter concrete silo for wet storage, wet/dry bucket elevators, a 135' diameter steel grain bin for dry grain, and a new receiving pit.
This grain company wanted to meet their immediate needs of increased grain receiving, drying, and storage capacities with an eye toward future expansion. Construction included a 58’ diameter concrete silo for wet storage, a 135' diameter steel bin for dry storage, a 7,000 BPH dryer, and a new receiving pit. The facility expansion allows for additional steel storage in the future.
