As part of a larger project updating an older facility, ESI re-lined an existing rail scale's upper garner with new High Energy Rhino Hyde urethane.
ESI constructed a 56' diameter 140' tall concrete silo to store 270,000 bushels of wet grain to feed a new Zimmerman 10,000 BPH dryer. The silo's Rolfes@Boone 1/7 CFM aeration system consists of a four 60 HP 3450 RPM centrifugal fans (including silencers), six 2 HP explosion proof power roof exhausters and flush floor aeration sheeting inside the silo.
ESI provided increased grain transfer flexibility with the addition of a new 18,000 BPH Schlagel 8 duct flatback electric distributor.
In 2004 ESI transformed a vacant railyard into a state-of-the-art automated grain elevator with a 50,000 BPH rail loadout. Designed for future expansion, ESSI added additional steel and concrete storage, dust systems, receiving, and drying over the next 10 years. The facility now exceeds 6.8 million bushels of storage.
ESI was awarded this greenfield project in October 2012, started construction in November, and completed the entire facility in time for the July 2013 wheat harvest. Includes 2,475,000 bushels of storage, a 40,000 BPH rail loadout bulkweigher scale and a Donaldson dust filter.
