This feed mill project included the installation of three replacement Schlagel electric distributors, spouting and custom-designed access platforms.
This project included an 890,000 bushel 105' diameter bin along with 20,000 BPH Hawthorne-Seving fill and reclaim conveyors. Grain temperatures inside the bin are read with the Rolfes@Boone KTX wireless temperature system. This bin also includes the Rolfes@Boone ITX inventory management system with five radars positioned across the bin roof to provide extremely accurate monitoring of the grain stored within.
Our millwright crews installed a new 25,000 BPH Hawthorne-Seving (HSI) shipping leg and APEX structural support tower at a grain terminal. The project included close coordination with the customer to limit disruptions to their grain receiving and shipping operations.
Our customer was seeking ways to increase the speed and capacity of their inbound grain receiving capabilities. ESI proposed enlarging an existing grain receiving pit that previously could only handle one trailer unload gate at a time with a new, larger grate and pit to accommodate both trailer gates. This new pit greatly reduces the time needed to unload a grain trailer resulting in shorter truck lines and wait times for the cooperative's customers.
Our customer wanted to increase the filling conveyor capacity for their 105' diameter bins. ESI replaced the 20,000 BPH conveyors with 40,000 BPH Hawthorne-Seving drag conveyors.
